Common Questions

1. How do you usually work with clients?

I believe that everyone deserves a chance of happiness. And that looks different depending on who you ask.
When I first started working with men individually I noticed a common theme. “There is not enough support for men and we are seen as the bad guys, no matter what she has done”.

Many men leave it the point of desperation before they come for help. They have had suicidal thoughts or have attempted it, they are drinking or gambling too much. They just need someone to listen, to not judge, and to get some sensible advice on how to move forward – often their mates response is to have another drink or hook up, or simply “you’ll be right”. But sometimes they are not all right.

So I decided enough is enough. I wanted to create a program where men can come together no matter where they are, to learn, to support each other and to know that they matter.

Hence “After the Divorce” was born. This program incorporates years of learning and experience. I have been in a long term marriage that failed, I may be woman but I am not blind. I can see clearly men need help, and there is not enough out there. There are plenty of coaches to support women, but not enough for men.

Through psychology and coaching I have pulled together the resources needed to help men heal. And this isn’t about me. It is about men coming together to support one another. Together, we can help save lives, we can help men heal and reconnect, to their kids, to their friends to themselves.

2. What can I expect from the call?

This program is not for everyone. I need to know that you are in the right head space to complete the program. If not I will discuss alternatives with you, you will not be dismissed.

During the call I will work with you to identify your goals for the next 12 months in terms of your personal life. This is not about surface goals, we will dive a little deeper than that. Why? Because if you don’t know what you want then you will never get there. And talking it through will help you get clarity.

You will have the opportunity to tell me what you want and why you are considering the program. If I see that what you want is what I am offering then I will explain the next steps.

3. Who is Leanne Kanzler?

Leanne Kanzler (BA Psych, HONS) has been a registered psychologist in Sydney, Australia for 10 years. She added coaching to her tool kit 4 years ago, when she realised that she needed more to help her clients, and herself, really move forward.
During this time she has worked with thousands of clients, dealing with trauma, workplace stress, grief and loss, relationship issues and more.

Leanne has always had a heart to help people. But the opportunity to do so only started when, after years of emotional put downs she went and saw a psychologist. After one visit she declared, “I’m not happy, I’m going back to university and I’m going to do Psychology”.

It was the start of a very turbulent time, but through it all she never gave up. She knew her marriage was not going to work but she stuck it out for the sake of her two young children.

It took a while, but when she finally realised that her time had come she ended the marriage and stood up for what she believed in. Through all this Leanne wants to teach others how to empower themselves, not by pushing down others, but through understanding themselves and growing emotionally.

Leanne writes for the online magazine, “Great Health Guide”, and is CEO of Reconnect Wellness Centre. She believes that we can never know enough and that ultimately we know for our self what we need, even though you may not realise it!

Testimonials

I went through a messy separation in 2020. I sought many different avenues to get help with my mental health and my concerns around the separation, and nothing really made an impact. After watching the webinar I was convinced this was the place I needed to go.
I was so impressed with the professionalism of the program, the way it is set out, and the way Leanne handled things. It challenged the way I think about myself and my actions, and gave me some strategies to make positive changes.
I am mentally stronger, making great decisions and able to live my life all thanks to this program.
I highly recommend it.

I was blessed to have met Leanne.
She helped me to let go of the bubbling rage I had developed. I went from a place of fear and hatred to acceptance, and then from acceptance to rediscovering the love I have for myself to know that I can do whatever it is I set my mind to

Leanne worked with me for about a year on and off. She managed to transform my life around and allowed me to come to terms with a lot of things. I really didn’t see where I was going wrong or how I could change that. I felt stuck.
Now I have been able to love myself. Love my art. Remove fears and start going forward. From doubtful to doubtless. This program will change lives. Men will have to surrender their ego and allow themselves to be vulnerable so when they go through this they feel great after.
Life becomes exciting again when you can finally take action and follow through on your actions, and not what you think others want of you! I cannot wait to see more men take this opportunity!
